School of Electronics and Information has great strength in teaching and academic research. It has an enrollment of more than 2100 undergraduates and 317 graduate students. In the recent five years, over 80 national level scientific research projects have been granted with over 50 million RMB research funding for the teachers.
The school provides project-oriented teaching and learning with the support of a dedicated team of engineers. The school has the latest facilities, including well-equipped scientific and technological laboratories. With the efforts of both teachers and students, students' practical innovation ability has been developed and over the years, they have won the many prices in the national electronic competition, the national college students' mathematical modeling competition, the national "Challenge Cup", “Freescale Smart Car Competition” and so on.
